Milton Blanco (born April 27, 1984) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Fresno Fuego in the USL Premier Development League. He is the 2011 MVP award winner for the USL PDL League. It would be hard to argue against Blanco, who led the entire league in points (38) and assists (14) for the Southwest Division Champions.

A veteran leader for the Fuego, Blanco has had professional stints with USL PRO’ Harrisburg City Islanders as well as Chivas USA of MLS. Blanco is the 2nd Fuego player to receive this award joining former Fuego star Pablo Campos, the 2007 winner.

Blanco has played with the Columbus Crew and Chivas USA of the MLS, and is sure to sign again in Major League Soccer in 2012. He is training with the San Jose Earthquakes currently, and invited to play on the Reserve Squad..

PLAYING STYLE

As an Attacking Midfielder he is a skilled dribbler and Free Kick specialist. As a striker or second striker, he can score and cut for runs, as proven by his league scoring awards. Opponents find it hard to defend, due to his Spanish skill mixed with USA League toughness.

PERSONAL

Blanco is of Mexican heritage, but born in the United States. He carries both a Mexico and USA passport.
